Albera Beef Producers – RaisedRight.ca

Under the superb art direction of Chad Smith of HancheroffSmith I contributed some design and layout to complete the new promotional website for the Beef Producers of Alberta. The website aims at engaging a dialogue with the consumer by telling the story behind the product and providing further information.

GloboShoes.com – the Aldo Group

Organizing an online store for a company that has over 10,000 products is a little complicated. We worked with the Aldo Group to re-evaluate and re-organize the architecture, user interface, and retail strategy for it’s online store experience. Each step from initial landing, to finding the shoes you need, to the cross-sell options that are most likely to enhance your main purchase, were re-imagined. On the back-end, we worked with the Aldo Group to implement iCongo's series of Cross-Channel Marketing and Invetory Management tools. We created style guides and standardized shopping elements to help their marketing teams across the globe remain consistent and create a uniform user experience with each seasonal update. The Aldo Group is now the largest online retailer of shoes and accessories.

Alcan / Pfizer

This internal portal site was created as a tool to help all levels of staff involved in the newly formed joint venture between Alcan and Pfizer. The portal enables the user to collect relevant information into their briefcase and link up with other professionals across the two companies to facilitate communication. I was asked to art direct and design an intuitive interface with clean elements that would "cut to the chase" and get the information in the right hands ASAP.

Lifestyle Homes

Lifestyle Homes tasked us to create a new web presence that reflects the quality and upscale qualities of their offerings. I provided art direction and design for their new website by focusing on the product rather than a word-centric sales pitch approach. I think it worked since they didn't go bankrupt like everyone else.

Banners – VAR

I don't like doing banners. No one likes doing banners. Ever been told by someone that they liked doing banners? They lied to your face. You wouldn't want to contract a bold face liar would you? I'll do them and, like everything else, I'll do them right... (Hey, we finished top runner up for the Canadian Young Lions in 08). Here are some examples.

Bayer CropScience – InVigor

A simple animation of the photographic material to promote Bayer CropScience Canada's InVigor canola seeds. Bayercropscience.ca/products/seed/invigor/. Built with Flash and After Effects.

Icons – Zokero Seisware 7

An icon set I created for Seisware 7, a seismic interpretation solution for geophysicists. I was asked to illustrate really obvious and universal concepts such as computing isochromes, re-grid amplitude contours, crossplot via polygon and 3D well fault line distribution. I worked together with their engineering department to build a visual library of elements that would create a consistency across the icons and allow the user to quickly associate the tools and data types.

Blitz Gum

A simple retouching/illustration job to add more kick to the models featured in the ads. The product is basically a gum version of an energy drink.
